BABAZULA
Located 15 minutes from St. Anne's Square, Babazula is this kind of place that is a little eccentric but is worth it! It's certain that coming to this point requires a little effort, but the place is worth it. In a warm atmosphere, with warm colors between orange, red and violet, with retro chairs and benches, a wall of ancient stones and works by local artists everywhere, it is a place where it is easy to feel at home. This is logical in the end in this place which was founded to be an intercultural bar, and which welcomes all cultures in the form of visual art, with a library corner, offering concerts, theater plays, reading and other testimonials… The playlist alone is an invitation to the roadtrip! Moreover, the name of the bar comes from a band of music from Istambul, and both tensioners, Onur and Cemil are themselves from Turkey, with a well-established will to establish a dialog between cultures here. And for that we didn't neglect your papillae since they also created 4 dishes they're doing themselves, inspired by the cultures of the world. The menu allows for a small trip between Italy, Lebanon, India and America, which come together very well. Every Friday evening, Jam sessions are organized and Saturday is a concert programming of very eclectic artists is proposed, programming is varied and surprising. It is a warm atmosphere that reigns there, a bit like at home, decoupled and tinted with beautiful humor. You can feel it as soon as you enter it because the atmosphere radiates authenticity!
