LE WESTPORT INN
A stone's throw from Sainte-Anne Square in an intimate street, it is a landmark of connoisseurs, lovers of good beer and whisky. In the distance, we are questioned by the famous barrel in which a customer seems to drown. Inside, everything is like the pubs of Irish neighborhoods, intimate and calmed, a green escape the green island lined with subboc of beers, simply picturesque. Kept firmly and humbled by Ronan Le Pavec and Gwendal Prioul, he makes us forget the rest of the world in his wooden nut, assisted by one of the beers of good taste, or one of the 80 whiskies proposed behind the counter. Personally, we shed a tear by tasting the Laphroaig whose flavor has transported us…

Excellent Irish and Breton draught beers, various syrupy drinks (chouchenn, bailey's.), and exquisite Whiskey of course! Between two chatterings, the two screens trendy of the Irish channels broadcasting Gaelic football and Rugby will draw your attention, without forgetting the covered ceiling coasters (coaster) that would make mouth-watering collectors... despite the small sign " Irish speaking, English understood" , the British accent finds its niche on each side of the bar, just like the Celtic, but French accents too!
Evenings are very festive, your heart can balance between beating this Welsh with spears darts or sharing a dry sausage with wild boar with cet/te étudiant/e.
You can surprise, once the advanced evening, the teachers Breton and Celtic university pay blows with their students...
The evening St Patrick, the pub is full to fissure and the atmosphere is decadent, pints stout colonize space and St Patrick and apostles arrive on the blows of 21:00 spray faithful Guinness gifts.
You will have understood, pub to be missed under any circumstances!
Hed Yec' matt! Slàinte!
(with your own! Breton/Irish)
