DIWÀN
Thomas Aubepart is passionate about tea, a true cupbearer in his field. His shop offers about a hundred different teas that he can talk about indefinitely. You can taste them, as you learn from him, like wine. There is indeed a real oenology of the discipline. Some teas are the most expensive commodities in the world, because they improve, ferment, are aged or vintage and sometimes even provoke a slight intoxication... At Diwàn they come from the brand Les jardins de Gaïa, whose founder is also the founder of the Demeter organic label. A fact that convinced Thomas, and thanks to which he can offer the five shades of tea: white, green, yellow, blue, black and dark, at all prices. A true scholar of the field, the owner of the premises shares his knowledge and also leads tasting workshops and tea rituals: the customer chooses his theme, which can range from learning how to use the accessories to discovering the lesser-known teas in his catalogue or variations on themes such as spring teas, wild teas. Whatever the subject, our host is inexhaustible. To allow everyone to choose what they like according to their means, he sells his teas by weight, from 10 grams, which will prevent you from getting bored, and allows you to choose a whole range of teas! He also has a selection of about twenty local herbal teas and several kinds of mate. This shop is an invitation to travel through flavours, to take the time to savour.
