Teenage Kicks is a biannual urban art festival that promotes street art. Created in 2013 on the initiative of Mathias Brez and Patrice Poch, two artists from Rennes, this festival is organised by the Graffiteam association. For nearly two months, you will be able to visit exhibitions related to urban art and street art, attend the realization of murals (urban frescoes), and participate in various events combining urban art with music. Three main sites: Hôtel Pasteur, Ateliers du Vent and the CRVA gallery. You can also admire murals throughout the city, the largest of which is undoubtedly the Boulevard du Colombier, where some thirty international artists joined forces in 2017 to "rebuild the facade" along the railway line. The festival also extends to Nantes and Saint-Malo, and in 2019 it will give its letters of nobility to Rennes' urban art, just as it will restore the city's sad and dilapidated facades to anchor it in a real artistic modernity!
