LES ÉTANGS D’APIGNÉ
South of Rennes, Etangs d'Apigné is the beach 5 minutes away from the city. Go there by bicycle, riding along the Vilaine river and you will be there in less than 20 minutes! Also practical is the Apibus line that gets you there in 30 minutes from Rennes. With a 30 hectare lake, this natural area is very popular and suitable for a stroll or leisure, and this justifies the refrain saying that Rennes is a big city in the countryside. Visit the ponds at your own pace, by foot or jogging. A small sandy area offers an access to the bathing spot (check in advance because bathing is regularly forbidden to general public because of harmful algae). The beach is supervised in summer. At the site of the Prévalaye center which offers about 200 hectares for you to indulge in open-air activities, gardening with 226 plots of family gardens, etc. For those who want to enjoy nature without being disturbed by the heat, a vast wooded area allow you to relax in the shade. The place is perfect for picnics, and for those who come with empty stomachs, a refreshment stand is located near the beach, and a bar-restaurant called: Les Terraces d'Apigné. The site is fully accessible to people with disabilities.

La balade est sympa autour du lac, c'est bien aménagée.
Il y'a même un coin plage et possibilité de se baigner.
Le lieu est assez fréquenté le dimanche, des gens font un picnic, une promenade, du footing ou bronzent leur corps au soleil.
