This association has developed a local currency, the Galléco, which can be used in Rennes, Redon, Fougères, and other surrounding towns in order to strengthen the local economy (the shopkeepers who are members of the network create jobs in their area and adhere to a charter of values). The use is very simple: 1 € = 1 Galléco. You just have to go to an exchange counter to exchange your money and get Galléco bills.
