CRÉDIT MUTUEL DE BRETAGNE
In 1847, Frédéric-Guillaume Raiffeisen created an association for bread to build a co-operative baker and buy seeds. In 1849 Raiffeisen created the rescue society for Flammersfeld farmers. Members collectively guarantee the borrowed capital of a bank by their surety and again lend to some of them. Thanks to these actions, the oldest Mutual Credit fund on the Raiffeisen model was established in the heart of Alsace in 1882. Today Credit Mutual is always a bank owned by its clients. They hold their capital and guide their strategy within the framework of a participatory operation. Its cooperative model and co-operative place place the person - the member, the administrator, the employee - at the heart of its action. For many services and daily accompaniment.
