The Faculty of Law and Political Science at the University of Rennes 1 offers its 4 000 students a rich and diversified training offer. The License in Law can be followed in general in Rennes as well as in Saint-Brieuc, while there are also specific courses. From the third year is also proposed a mention of Political Science. In master, six mentions allow students to specialize in the area of their choice: business law, private law (which includes a chain of notarial law), social law, public law (which includes a specialty of law history), European law, political science. Concurrently or after the master, students can enrol in the Institute of Judicial Studies, which prepares them for the Bar and the Judiciary. A doctoral school also allows for a thesis. Each can thus find training adapted to its achievements and projects. An event makes FACULTY shine: the youth tax trophy.
