UFR LANGUES
Created in 1994 and located in the heart of the campus of Villejean in the buildings E and L, the FACULTY Languages now brings together 180 teachers and researchers, 25 BIATOS staff. It hosts nearly 3 500 language specialists and all university students as part of compulsory language teaching in their curricula. It consists of 10 departments or networks, a Language Centre dedicated to initial or continuous training in the 18 languages proposed. Its trainings are based on the 4 Reception teams in addition to the Institute of the Americas, the Faulkner Foundation and the Galician Centre for Studies. All formations of the FACULTY Languages are part of the framework of the DMLS Reform: Licence, Master, Doctorate. The first cycle of 3 years leads to the diploma of license, while the second cycle leads after 2 years to Master's degree, two international. Training for the FACULTY Languages mainly responds to four main axes: foreign and regional languages, literature and cultures, applied foreign languages, languages for specialists in other disciplines (LANSAD) and lifelong learning.
