COMITÉ DÉPARTEMENTAL HANDISPORT 35

Established in 1984, the Committee is an association, which comprises associations aimed at the practice of physical and sports activities specific to physically, visually or auditory persons, and whose headquarters are located in the department. The Committee's policy is therefore to promote, organise and coordinate the practice of physical and sports activities in favour of persons in situations of physical and sensory disabilities. Activities are performed both in leisure and in competition. Its mission is to develop sports disciplines in the department, as well as federal projects, both at the youth level and with adults or non-resident centres. It also promotes the development of disciplines through material support or coaching assistance. Finally, it facilitates the integration of persons with disabilities into the appropriate structures through information and training activities. It represents and defends the interests of Handisport associations and members of the various bodies. This departmental committee opens sport to young people and adults with a disability with handisport practice. So many activities are proposed such as basketball, badminton, swimming, driving activities… because the activities allow to exchange, meet, make sport, share, laugh. In short, feel good.
