ZAP.RENNES
Created in 1991, Zap is the oldest youth newspaper still occurring in France. This media has been created at the instigation of the city council and is coordinated by the Regional Information Centre for Youth. Its contents are entirely done by young Rennes urban area inhabitants, chosen monthly by the editorial manager. Everyone, please understand every young person in Rennes, can contribute to the content. Zap now plays on different fields: on paper, on the Internet or on the radio. Journalists' apprentices share their view on life, the city and news. Followed by festivals and cultural events or meetings with local artists, Zap interests its young inhabitants wishing to learn a bit more about their city. Texts are often very funny and quirky but give an idea of the problems faced by secondary school pupils, college students and students.
