RADIO RENNES (100.8)
On 9th January 2012, the mayor Daniel Delaveau at the city hall celebrated the 30 years of the resort founded by Gabriel Aubert in the movement of the independent local radio stations in the beginning of the 1980s. We will not complain about a surplus of local information. Rennes is therefore well-equipped with media radio stations. Rennes Radio plays much music with little chitchat. There is a lot of jazz (non-stop broadcasting!) in its program, but also rock, world music and traditional music (but not necessarily Breton). We can tune in, listen... and let ourselves get carried away by this radio. Radio Rennes can be found on FIP, and Radio Rennes also broadcasts international news bulletins from Radio France (RFI). Radio Rennes was originally located on Ranelagh Street, just like RFI in Paris! Good quality music, on a calm and serene tone...
