Broadcast throughout the Rennes conurbation TVR (formerly TV Rennes) was one of the first local television channels created in France as early as 1987. As a key player in the local media landscape and a partner of local players, the channel is fully integrated into the life of the city and is watched by several tens of thousands of viewers every day. Present at all the major events in Rennes and Brittany through debates, documentaries, and news bulletins, it has in recent years brought itself up to date with the Internet and can now follow all programmes online, live or replayed, and anywhere thanks to the smartphone app.
