A must for literature lovers and curious people of all kinds, the library contains nearly 500,000 books, DVDs, CDs and video games spread over seven thematic levels. Comfortable and bright, we like to stroll among the shelves of this library to observe the cabinet of curiosities or discover the amazing Henri Pollès museum. After the language and literature floor in 2020, the music floor was recently renovated. An optimization of its space that tends to make it even more lively and attractive. It should be noted that the library is also one of the few places in Rennes to offer visitors an unobstructed view of the city. The website, very well designed, allows you, among other things, to consult the online catalog, to discover selections of tablet applications for your children as well as the librarians' favorites.
