FERME DE LA HARPE

The Harp Farm is an area of leisure and educational activities open to a wide audience with individual and collective musical practices, technical and manual workshops, sports activities… Located in the north-west of the city, the Harp Farm is another major associative location in Rennes. The activities proposed would be difficult to list many of them: sports, technical workshops, music, artistic practices, audiovisual pole… What must be retained is that lessons and workshops are of high quality. To put it simple, they are committed to fulfilling three roles: Make Harp Farm a place of discovery, a place to deepen its knowledge as well as its practices but also a place of leisure. According to these objectives, each one of them engages in a diligent practice of its sport or its preferred instrument. You can still attend a workshop or attend representations. Originality is the technical workshops, of which we are pleased to say that they value crafts and the work of materials allied to precious knowledge. Plumbing, metal work, carpentry are some examples. The audiovisual cluster also has a lot of internships. However, let us not forget that the heart of the Harp Farm is Jazz. With this again a range of courses and practice workshops… Not forgetting the jazz club, open every Thursday evening to the jugglers of brooms, pistons, valves, mouths and sourdines: they may participate in the "La Harp en Jazz" festival. Here, theme nights abound. For lovers of Jazz, this is the place! Let us not forget that the Harp Farm rooms are leasing for any occasion.
