Cap Mail in Rennes, a high standing residential building (45 apartments) in the shape of a ship's bow rising to 40 m high
Once home to a wealth of warehouses, the Mail district has been renovated year after year to make way for residential buildings. Among them is Cap Mail, a luxury apartment block (45 apartments) with a façade blending glass and greenery, completed in 2014. It was designed by the internationally renowned architect Jean Nouvel, whose work includes the Institut du Monde Arabe in Paris, Dentsu Tower in Tokyo and Tour Agbar in Barcelona. It is characterized by its boat bow shape, rising to a height of 40 metres.
