Museum with a permanent exhibition, retracing Breton history with 2,300 objects from the Paleolithic to the present day.

On the second floor of the Champs Libres, discover the permanent exhibition Bretagne est univers, retracing Breton history with 2,300 objects from the Palaeolithic to the present day: fossils, sarcophagi, Bigouden headdresses, traditional closed bed... A section is also devoted to a less-than-glorious episode in French history: the Dreyfus Affair. It was in the Breton capital that the Captain's retrial began in 1894. A museum full of daring, which also hosts rich temporary exhibitions.

Ce musée retrace l'histoire de la région rennaise/bretonne depuis la préhistoire jusqu'à nos jours. Très instructif et beaucoup de magnifiques objets. J'ai particulièrement apprécié la section dédiée à A.Dreyfus !

Je recommande. Nous avons fait la visite guidée du dimanche, très sympathique. Nous avons appris de nouvelles choses sur la Bretagne. À faire surtout sur c’est gratuit.
