THE TERRACES OF VERTUGADIN
Les terrasses du Vertugadin, a link between the Promenade des Bonnets-Rouges and the Promenade Marguerite Yourcenar.
On the banks of the Vilaine to the east of the town, in the new Baud-Chardonnet district to be precise, the Vertugadin terraces link the Bonnets-Rouges promenade and the Marguerite Yourcenar promenade. The name of these terraces refers to the landscaped area at the end of the promenade. Vertugadin is distinguished by its lawn, which slopes down in an amphitheatrical fashion towards the river. On the wall of the belvedere, the Martin Bineau fresco adds color to the site.
