LE GRAND HUIT
Alternative venue dedicated to the popular arts of yesteryear, with rides and traditional games, in the former SNCF technicenter in Rennes.
The Masclet family is well known in Rennes. Régis Masclet is an enthusiast of the fairground arts, and was responsible for renovating the merry-go-round on Place Sainte-Anne. He passed on this passion to his two sons. Today, as a family, they have taken possession of the former SNCF technicenter to develop an alternative venue dedicated to the popular arts of yesteryear. The site plunges us into the world of the funfair, with antique rides, traditional games, models and objets d'art... Eventually, it will also offer visitors the chance to discover the diversity of arts and crafts through a varied program (workshops, exhibitions, etc.). Currently undergoing renovation, the site is open for special events.
