MANOIR DU VAUGARNY * * * *
Charming gîtes with terrace and private garden with a traditional style restaurant.
The three charming gîtes at the Manoir du Vaugarny open onto 5 hectares of unspoilt countryside. Each has its own terrace and private garden for a cosy getaway. The estate's gardens are sculpted using topiary art. Strolls can be improvised between streams, woods and medieval vegetable gardens. It's not unusual to come across rabbits and squirrels. The gîtes, whose foundations were laid in the 14th century, have been restored in the Breton architectural tradition. Not to be missed: the castles of Rocher Portail and Fougères.
