A literary festival that is wide open to the world, inviting famous writers and young talents to Saint-Malo.
This literary festival, initiated by the writer Michel Le Bris in 1990, cultivates a certain idea of literature, wide open to the world. Each year, some 200 authors, filmmakers, children's illustrators and comic book creators from all over the world, big names and new talents, are invited to come and exchange with readers. In addition to the book fair, debates, meetings, readings, shows, exhibitions, screenings, literary cafés, prize-giving ceremonies, children's activities, breakfasts or aperitifs with the writers are offered.
