The association was founded in 1956 under the name «Happy Motherhood», before becoming the «French Family Planning Movement» in 1960. It is a militant association that takes sexualities whatever they are, protects and defends the right to contraception, abortion and sexuality learning. For a fairer society, based on equality between women and men, it denounces and fights all forms of violence, AIDS and stis, all forms of discrimination and social inequalities. Medical consultations, individual interviews, speaking groups and a library of documentary resources are available at the Saint Malo offices.
