A superb town to discover the remains of the Roman fortified town and the cathedral of Saint-Pierre d'Alet.

Here stood Alet, ancient capital of the Coriosolites in the1st century B.C. This peninsula on the banks of the Rance is the ancient cradle of Saint-Malo, where the first inhabitants lived before migrating to the present-day inner city in the 12th century. It boasts one of the finest views of the Emerald Coast. In addition to the remains of Roman times and the Saint-Pierre d'Alet cathedral, you'll also find evidence of the Second World War, with 32 blockhouses. Visit the WWII memorial and enjoy the campsite.

balade originale avec une partie dans la nature avec vue sur d'anciens forts et fortification, endroit totalement différent de la ville close de st malo commençant au port

Autant Intra-Muros grouille de touristes autant vous serez au calme en vous promenant à la Cité d'Alet. c'est un îlot de verdure d'où on peut avoir une très belle vue sur Saint-Malo et sur Dinard. et pour les amateurs vous pouvez visiter un blockhaus

Etant originaire du coin, je recommande la cité D'alteh, le coin le plus beau pour moi, vue magnifique sur St malo Dinard, très belle balade à faire. attention a bien garder les enfants près de soi, falaise qui peuvent être dangereuses pour les enfants intrépides
