These sculpted rocks are atypical and exceptional works, inspired by the Rothéneuf, a family of fearsome privateers.

In Rothéneuf, the monumental work of Abbé Fouré (1839-1910) comprises 300 sculptures inspired by the legends of the Rothéneuf family of feared privateers. They were created by the man who hammered, shaped and sculpted the rocks for almost 15 years of his life. You'll be captivated by these fantastic characters with their frightening grins, extraordinary sea monsters and mythical animals. Enjoy an enchanting and unforgettable walk on the rocks.

Je vais hélas rejoindre les précédents commentaires. C'est cher pour ce que c'est. C'est dangereux avec des enfants et au final on peut facilement s'en passer en regardant les photos.

Le prix n’est pas en relation avec la visite qui est plus que rapide à effectuer.
Les quelques sculptures non érodées ne sont pas mises en valeur.
La vue est belle par contre.
