In Rothéneuf, the monumental work of Abbé Fouré (1839-1910) comprises 300 sculptures inspired by the legends of Rothéneuf, a family of feared privateers. They were created by the man who hammered, shaped and sculpted the rocks for almost 15 years. You'll be captivated by these fantastic characters with their frightening grins, extraordinary sea monsters and mythical animals. An enchanted and unforgettable walk on the rocks.

The path around has a very good view of the sea and it's free to explore. Just be careful with the heights and the sea but enjoy the view.
