As every year for nearly 3 decades, usually on the 1st weekend of August, the small town of Saint-Suliac, on the banks of the Rance, bends over backwards to organise one of the most beautiful traditional and popular festivals in Brittany, with a friendly and good-natured atmosphere. Large tables set up along the streets welcome all those who wish to stop there to discover the typical culinary specialities of the region: hams with string, hocks and its vegetables, sausage patties, halibut, sand lance... On the charming marina, one can happily see a crowd celebrating in a huge improvised open-air restaurant! Breton music, sailors' songs, traditional local games, tales, fest-deiz and fest-noz which follow one another throughout the weekend. Not forgetting the parade of traditional costumes on Sunday from 5pm. In 2020, Saint-Suliac in the past will take place on August 1st and 2nd.
