GLASS PARK GARDEN
Garden not far from the historic city center, with cypress, pine and cedar trees
This 7-hectare garden was originally part of the park of Château Marie. It was the residence of Amélie de Hesse-Cassel, Princess of Taranto (17th century). The town of Vitré opened the garden to the public in 1867. Cypresses, pines and cedars stand side by side in this verdant setting not far from the historic town center. On site, you'll find a bandstand dating from 1897, a pond, an aviary, a fallow deer enclosure and magnificent flowerbeds. Don't miss the incredible 22-metre-high California cedar! Picnic tables are available.

de jolis arbres très verdoyant ponctué de temps en temps d'espaces floraux
très reposant et encore une fois personne ne semble fréquenter ce parc
