TRECESSON CASTLE
The castle of Trécesson, even if you can't visit it, is worth a visit. Considered by some to be one of the most important castles in Brittany, it charms with its schist stone walls that are fully reflected in the moat water. Dated from the 15th century, it is known for its legend of the white lady. A young woman in her wedding outfit was reportedly buried alive, in her vicinity, by her brothers who were dissatisfied with the union she was about to enter into. For many years, his crown of flowers would have been displayed in the castle chapel.
The castle opens the gates of its courtyard a few times a year, sometimes for concerts, sometimes for visits as part of heritage events.
