This tumulus of 10 m height and 125 m length is one of the largest funerary monuments of the Neolithic in Europe
Built 4,500 years before our era and classified as a Historic Monument since 1889, this tumulus is 10 m high and 125 m long and is one of the largest Neolithic funerary monuments in Europe. Under this heap of earth and stone were discovered a dolmen, two funerary chambers, about fifteen stone chests filled with bones, axes, potteries and jewels exposed in the Museum of Prehistory. It offers a magnificent observation point on the region.
