QUENECAN FOREST
The forest known as the small Breton Switzerland, offering two curiosities to note: the Breuil du chêne and the menhir of Breuil
The forest of Quénécan, known as the little Breton Switzerland, covers more than 3,000 hectares. The rugged terrain offers beautiful views over the valley. Two curiosities are to be noted: the Breuil du chêne and the Breuil menhir. Near the chapel of the Madeleine, a forest path of 1.2 km is marked out with 14 monoliths, which represent the stations of the cross. On the rocky ridge, the Breuil du chêne offers a splendid panorama of the Pontivy basin. The chapels of Saint-Ignace, Saint-Marc and Sainte-Tréphine are very popular places of Pardon.
