INTERPROFESSION DES VINS DE BERGERAC ET DURAS
The Wine Interprofessional Council of the Bergerac Region (CIVRB) and the Interprofessional Wine Council of Duras have joined together to form the Interprofession of Wines from Bergerac and Duras. The vineyards of Bergeracois, with its 11,000 ha, 800 hectares and its 500,000 hl, the other large vineyard of Aquitaine, whose origins go back over time. With its thirteen names, all the colors of wine are proposed: red, rosé, white, (dry, soft and liquorous). Centered around Bergerac, each appellation generously offers its wealth: red bergerac, red bergering ribs, red montravel, sinking, rosé bergerac, dry bergerac, dry montravel, for snuffing: high montravel, ribs, white ribs and rosette. Finally, for liquorous, sausage and monbazillac. By crossing the wine route, winemakers, wine growers, who for the most part have been working the vineyard for several generations and for several years, the British, Dutch and so on, fell into love for the Dordogne and its wine. They all enjoy sharing their passion and are attached to the quality of their production, to make it the showcase of a separate Périgord, strong with its own identity. Red and rosé AOC contains cabernet sauvignon, free cabernet, black merlot, enclosure or malbec. The dry bern comes from the assembly of the semagoon, sauvignon, muscadel, ondenc and white road. Cabernet sauvignon and frank, black merlot, caut or malbec give the red bergerac ribs this intense dark color. The semimile is the favorite grape variety for white bergering ribs, with golden dress. The vineyard of the Monbazillac appellation covers five communes and covers 2,500 ha. Its wines are rich, derived from sauvignon, seminal, muscading and botrytised grapes, which give liquorous wine, also called the gold of Périgord. For a long time, wine was considered a 'case' of men. Today, women have been able to make their place by offering quality products. These women, passionate about their craft, have been able to create wines filled with femininity, sensuality and elegance, and have made refined products respectful of their soil and vineyards. Each gives the best of her to harvest and vinify subtle assemblies of which she alone has the secret. The authenticity of each wine, an elegant bottle and an original label will dazzle your tables and will accompany your dishes successfully. Eric Chadourne of La Mouthe Castle in Creysse is the new president.
