We call them that because these monumental stones are about 6 m high and weigh about 40 tons! They are aligned perpendicular to the Kerzehro Alignments, from north to south. You will discover the Great Broken Menhir, struck by lightning in 1947, and the Table of Sacrifices (the one that lies down) whose roughness has fed the popular imagination: it is said that the druids, at full moon, sacrificed young children, smearing the menhir with their dripping blood...

Les Géants de Kerzerho
Erdeven, en plus de ses alignements, offre la possibilité de se "mesurer" à ses Géants : une rencontre incroyablement belle en pleine nature ! Peut-être moins connus, en tout cas, peu de monde fin mars, parfait pour profiter du site.
Divers chemins aménagés permettent également de faire de jolies ballades près du village.

Superb walk, the road crosses the field of menhir, but or passed the stones? unfortunately they were probably used to build the village. the church, the houses… have can think the width of site align these enormous blocks.

What a nice surprise to see these impressive gigantic stones of a size! You cannot help but wondering what these stones can represent. The walk is very pleasant and you could spend hours there to walk!
