GROIX NATURE RESERVE
A two-sector nature reserve created in 1982 and managed by the Bretagne Vivante association in Groix.
Created in 1982 and now managed by the Bretagne Vivante association, the 99-hectare Groix nature reserve comprises two sectors. The Pen Men / Beg Melen area, of great geological interest, is home to five species of seabird (herring, great and great black-backed gulls, northern fulmar, crested cormorant and a pair of peregrine falcon), and the Locqueltas area as far as the Pointe des Chats. During the school vacations, the reserve team organizes activities to help visitors discover our geological and natural heritage.
