LES AUTRUCHES DE LA SAUDRAYE
Ferme d'Autruches de la Saudraye is a breeding farm located in Guidel, Brittany. Farm manager Boris Le Bec has been raising hundreds of ostriches for over 20 years on 30 hectares of meadows and woodland. The ostriches are fed a 100% vegetable and mineral diet, adapted to the animal's age and needs. The farm is renowned for the quality of its products, thanks to its mastery of breeding, from egg-laying to slaughtering and processing. Ostrich meat, which is red in color, is renowned for its tenderness and taste. It is also low in cholesterol, making it a healthy product. However, it is not possible to visit the farm. The farm also sells meat directly on site, but does not deliver to private customers.
