La Gacilly's craftsmen are renowned throughout the country. Galleries, shops and craft stalls intermingle in the pretty cobbled streets of the village. If La Gacilly is famous for being the mother house of Yves Rocher, it is just as famous for the quality of its craftsmen: stamped Ville et Métiers d'art, you will discover passionate men and women. For more than 40 years, thirty or so craftsmen have been sharing their know-how through the sale of their objects or visits to their workshops. Here, they work with leather, glass, clay, metal, wood... If you have always dreamed of discovering an artist working with blown glass, right before your eyes, it is in La Gacilly that you will find him. Jewellers, painters and sculptors are also there.

If you go to La Gacilly between July and October, you will have the chance to discover one of the most important photo festivals in Europe! Renowned worldwide, an exhibition takes place every year on a different theme and is spread throughout the flowery streets of the town. A must-see event in the region that once again puts artists in the spotlight.
