THE MUSEUM OF THE NAUGHTY SEA
Museum that tells the story of the river and the men who exploited its riches through fishing and coastal shipping
Housed in a former mansion built in part in the 16th century, the Vilaine Museum tells the story of the river and the men who exploited its riches through fishing and coastal shipping, but also that of the bridges of La Roche-Bernard from 1839 to 1960. An important collection of objects pays homage to the last witnesses of the traditional sailboat and brings back to life the habitat, customs and habits of the region. Guided tours of the museum all summer long.
