Before investing in this oyster farm, Philippe and Jacques Mathieu d'Arc were in the merchant navy. A 180-degree turn for these two brothers from Lorient, who love the sea, and wanted to take over the business and shape it in their own way. The result is Maison Mathieu d'Arc, a 50-seat restaurant set right on the water, with a breathtaking view of the islands. It's the perfect place to sample oysters, shellfish, shrimps, whelks and several types of rillettes. Breton cider and butter guaranteed.
