MAPL

The MAPL association aims at contributing to the promotion, diffusion, support for creation and generally for the development of contemporary music in Pays de Lorient. The main activities of the association are artistic promotion and diffusion (participation in the institutional networks of current music at the departmental, regional and national levels; implementation of regular programme in the Lorientaise room "Le Manège", promoting local, departmental and regional artists; organisation of the Les Indisciplinées Festival and support for creation (organisation of national and international artists' housing, artistic project support, technical support). M.A.P.L. has two facilities, Les Studios and Le Manège. Les Studios is a complex with 5 rehearsal studios, a recording studio, a storage room, a cafeteria and an exhibition gallery, a cultural café (organisation of conferences, debates and concerts). As for Le Manège, it is a broadcast room and stage preproduction with 350 seats, adherent to Fedurok (national network of contemporary music rooms), residence, etc.
