A park offering life-size scenes to immerse you in the geological world of dinosaurs and prehistoric man
Since 1988, the Parc de Préhistoire de Bretagne has presented 36 life-size scenes, immersing us in the geological world of dinosaurs (300 to 65 million years BC) and prehistoric man (500,000 to 2000 BC). Located in the Landes de Lanvaux, near Rochefort-en-Terre, the park extends over 25 hectares of wild moorland in the exceptional setting of the former Gwenfol slate quarries.

the park is wide and provides a relaxing family promenade.
children have small when we visited this park: they were impressed by dinosaurs and did not want to believe that they were not real.
2 years later, they still speak to us about it...

I had gone a few years ago, child, and the site was marked me. I gone back this summer, 10 years later, and little has changed, no evolution, no improvement. Such a park could be enriched over the years... pity! especially for the entrance fee.
The visit takes about 1:00, with children a little more because it will linger to admire the stage, especially the tyrannosaurus life-size!
