TREACHEROUS PORT
A charming little port whose main activity is myticulture.
The passage from Tréhiguier to Moustoir has always existed. At the end of the 19th century, the poor economic conditions of the canneries, the decline of the fairs and the silting up slowed down the traffic. For Pénestin, the smooth running of Tréhiguier is vital, as it is its only means of transporting goods. Thus, on the eve of the First World War, major development work was undertaken there, which would not stop until the 1960s. Today, the main activity of this charming little port is mussel farming.
