THE DOLMEN OF CRUCUNO
This dolmen, said to have served as a barn for a simple spirit, has been listed as a Monument Historique since 1882.
Despite the fact that its mound has been amputated and its access corridor deprived (which gave it a total length of 27 metres), the Crucuno dolmen, made up of nine pillars, is one of the biggest dolmens in the world! For the record, legend has it that it served as a barn or shelter for a simpleton... Its chamber, 1.80 m high, forms a square of 3.50 m by 3.40 m, and is covered with a 7.60 m long slab weighing more than forty tons. It is classified as a historical monument since 1882. To be seen.
