It is a small fishing village, a quiet port nestled in a cove of the Ria. The port of Vieux-Passage lives to the rhythm of the fishermen waiting for the right moment to take to the sea and deposit their traps. Its location has made it a strategic position since the 1st century BC. Before the construction of the Lorois Bridge, a ferry linked the Vieux-Passage to the opposite bank, the port of Étel. After the destruction of this bridge by the war and then its reconstruction, the ferryman resumed service. Still in use today, it is a charming moment.

Restaurant trouvé par hasard grâce aux membres de Trip Advisor. Très satisfaits de notre déjeuner, nous étions quatre personnes. Très bon accueil et service. Excellente cuisine. Carpaccio de sardines, andouillette à la ficelle, gambas, entrecôte, poire belle-hélène, mousse au chocolat, tiramisu, que du bonheur... Bon rapport qualité/prix.
Nous recommandons cette adresse à côté de la ria d'Etel.

Bien pratique et agréable que de faire cette courte traversée entre le port du Magouër de Plouhinec à Etel. Quelquefois un peu d'attente surtout le mardi matin jour de marché à Etel car le nombre de passagerspossible est très strict. Sécurité oblige. Mais le capitaine est vraiment charmant.
