Impressive building built at the end of the th century, the castle of Callac has the reputation of welcoming between its walls the young Bonaparte, but before it hid the chouans. Tireless, he served as a rallying point for French parachute dropped during World War II and hosted their pre-paratrooper staff during the Battle of St. Marcel. Today it is home to a large collection of historical portraits.
