SAINT MICHAEL'S CHAPEL
Chapel dated 1440, classified as a historical monument in 1922, in the same way as the yew tree in Questembert.
Dated 1440 and located in the heart of the cemetery, the Saint-Michel chapel is the oldest chapel in Questembert. It was classified as a historical monument in 1922, along with the yew tree, which is several hundred years old, and the cross, known as the "banner cross" from the 15th and 16th centuries. Restored at the beginning of the 21st century (between 2007 and 2008), it houses a beautiful series of polychrome wooden statues from the 16th century. The building is open to the public during events such as concerts, the chapel with music in July and August, European Heritage Days, etc.
