CHAPELLE NOTRE-DAME DES FLEURS
Chapel decorated with modern stained glass windows, with a beautiful statue of the Virgin and Child with an open book in her hands
This modest chapel houses a remarkable statuary. The polychrome wooden sculpture of Notre-Dame des Fleurs, dated from the 15th century, depicts a Virgin and Child with an open book in her hands. Her fine features and facial expression make her moving. Also noteworthy are the statues of Saint Emérentienne, with her entrails in her hand, of Saint Anthony, Saint Yves and Saint Mark. The modern stained glass windows, designed by artist David Tremlett, complete the simple and pure aesthetics of the building.
