ABBAYE DE RHUYS

The Abbey of Rhuys, which houses the community of the Sisters of Charity of Saint-Louis, is located in southern Brittany at Saint-Gildas de Rhuys on a peninsula in a natural and exceptional environment on the edge of the ocean. Its reception centre is managed by an association under the law of 1901 comprising both the nuns of the community and lay people. Modern and with a large capacity of reception, it offers its facilities to a very large public: individuals, groups of all conditions, all ages, all nationalities or religions, in particular for those who suffer from solitude. Its team strives to offer those who stay at the abbey, in groups, families or individually, the support of a fraternal presence, a space for prayer and the possibility of spiritual accompaniment, in the respect and freedom of each person.
