HISTORICAL WAX MUSEUM
Located opposite the sanctuary, this museum traces, through different scenes, the origins of the pilgrimage, the life of Yves Nicolazic, the apparitions of Sainte Anne mother of Marie and her miracles, who was at the origin of the great Breton pilgrimage. The last scene, made by Musée Grévin of Paris, shows the pope surrounded by five Breton children, a reference to the visit of Pope John Paul II in Sainte-Anne-d'Auray on September 20, 1996. The tours are commented and explained in Breton, French, English, German and Dutch.
