Sauzon is a nature reserve home to numerous plant and animal species.
This 17-hectare peninsula, used by man since the Iron Age, is the property of the Conservatoire du littoral. It includes the ornithological reserve as well as the moor, and shelters numerous animal and plant species. The point is occupied by one of the largest colonies of brown gulls in France, mixed with herring gulls. Three-legged gulls, crested cormorants, northern fulmars, red-billed choughs and rock pigeons also nest there. Themed walks.
