Thérèse Pichon's Les Potes au feu is a friendly family-run canteen with an organic label and a commitment to local produce and seasonality. It opened in Séné in 2012, right next door to Le Local Bio, which sells her vegetables from the Ozon market farm. The result: three people in the kitchen, a vast, light-filled dining room, large communal wooden tables where everyone lays out their tray, just like at a cantoche, three menus including one vegetarian, and regulars who come back because they appreciate the table as much as the spirit.
