The Musée des Beaux-Arts in Vannes focuses on contemporary art and presents temporary exhibitions.

Founded in 1982, La Cohue, the Musée des Beaux-Arts de Vannes, has been presenting temporary exhibitions featuring major artistic figures for over 30 years. The permanent section features works from the late 19th and early 20th centuries, including Eugène Delacroix's Christ on the Cross . The second floor is devoted to paintings by Geneviève Asse (1923-2021), a painter and printmaker. An online portal provides access to the collections.

Le musée construit dans un ancien bâtiment médiéval rend le lieu assez atypique et la visite très agreable.
Je m’attendais cependant à voir plus de tableaux dans la collection permanente.
De plus, l’accueil laisse à désirer.
